TVXQ Love Beauty Recipe (Ray Magazine)

I thought this was cute, I never imagined TVXQ in the Recipes section of a magazine.
So Changmin is the only who craves for sweets? Aw Minnie I love sweets too, chocolate is my drug! ^^
Unfortunately we will never see a white X-mas in Buenos Aires (unless a miracle or something really bad happens due to global warming) so we don't eat many sweets during X-mas here. Imagine having to bake a cake when the temperature is around 35°C!!
X-mas dinner here mostly consists in cold meats and salads and ice cream or fruit salad as dessert.

TVXQ in OotChatSa (Gag Concert)

This is absolutely adorable. I really don't know how to describe it so just watch it. Jaejoong wasn't there but Changmin and Yunho just killed me ^^

SM lawsuit against banning of Mirotic

DBSK’s 4th album was put under the 19 year age banned by the Youth Safety Association on November, however SM.ENT will starting next week file a legal case against this to the Justice Court/ District Court.
DBSK’s Management SM Entertainment (SM), quoted by Money Today’s Star News: “We will go through administrative measures against the suspension by filing a case next week to the District Court” and “We have been getting ready for this legal case on the 2nd”
“We have agreed to release a clean version of ‘Jumon - Mirotic’ by the administrative order, but this is something we do not agree with and feel this is entirely unfair. Therefore we have decided to file a case to the court against the administration’s disclosure.”
The Ministry for Health, Welfare and Family Affairs administration has on the November 27th declared that DBSK’s 4th album’s Mirotic’s lyrics were provocative and is harmful to the Youths.
The Commission of Youth Protection have said that the words and the meaning of ‘Jumon-Mirotic’ is not the only problem but the entire lyrics’ meaning was harmful and overly suggestive (sexually).
After the Commission of Youth Protection had released this statement SM.ENT said “Even before when the order had been put against MIROTIC, we have clearly negotiated and tried to explain the real meaning and explanation of the lyrics, but even after this the results came out unexpectedly and we are bewildered as of this moment” “and the JUMON -MIROTIC’s lyrical meaning is entirely different and miles away from the erotic or sexual that the association is making it to be.”
DBSK’s 4th album by the end of November hit 460,000 sales. This is the highest record sale for this year out of any artists/idols.
However with the current condition and news coverage of DBSK’s CD age ban has caused Japanese Media to release news coverage of this. On the 4th, Japan’s AsahiTv, Nihon Tv. etc. released their coverage as ‘Asia’s Star DBSK and the ban of the CD release single MIROTIC. Sankei Sports news on the 5th, Sports-Nippon released their news “Age ban on DBSK 4th album, will this affect DBSK’s attendance for NHK’s Red White ceremony?” (The PD for NHK has already released a statement saying that this incident will not affect DBSK’s attendance for NHK’s Red White ceremony)
DBSk has also hit the top charts in Japan’s Oricon charts numerous times, and have won twice in a row the “Golden Artists Award” at the Best Hits Gayo Awards.

Mirotic deemed inappropriate for youths under 19

After judging that Rain’s Rainism was harmful and detrimental to youths last week, the Commission of Youth Protection has acted again by labeling DBSK’s Mirotic, Solbi’s Do It Do It, Trust Me and Make Up Sex from Dynamic Duo’s 4th album, etc in the same category as Rainism. This has created an uproar once again in Korea with the ruling taking effect from this week onwards.
According to sources, the Commission of Youth Protection usually examines around 100 songs every month to see if they are harmful or detrimental to youths in Korea. But this is the first time that their scope is targeted specifically towards popular mainstream singers in Korea right now. In the last month alone, 110 songs were judged to be inappropriate with 32 of them Korean songs, setting a new record in the process. The reason for banning Mirotic was the same as Rainism in that part of the lyrics were inappropriate.
The ruling will come into effect from 4th December with the song being banned from playing on tv or radio before 10pm. The Mirotic album will have stickers affixed to them that indicates “unsuitable for people under 19 years old”. The song lyrics will have to be modified if they are going to perform this during concerts or events. Action will be taken if any of the above are flouted.
Although affected singers and their companies have expressed that they will adhere to the ruling, they can’t fathom the reasoning behind the ban.
Industry critics feel that this will only heap more misery on the already suffering music industry. And one wonders if the “19-only” stickers restricting the sale of affected albums will actually have any effect. DBSK for example are already done with promoting Mirotic and are actually in the midst of promoting their follow-up song Wrong Number. With album sales already exceeding 300,000, it also means that most of their fans have already gotten the album already.

Part 2

Korea’s Ministry for Health, Welfare and Family Affairs is on a roll.
After banning Rain and his Magic Stick, the Ministry has now turned their attention to Dong Bang Shin Ki.
Just a couple of days ago, the Ministry banned TVXQ’s hit song “Mirotic” for its “suggestive sexual content” and asked SM Entertainment to change the lyrics of the song.
SM Entertainment negotiated the terms for the condition but like Rain they were left with no choice but to comply with the Ministry’s decision to release an edited version of “Mirotic”.
A representative from SM Entertainment released a statement on December 2, said, “The Commission of Youth Protection has determined ‘Mirotic‘ as one of the songs that are banned, therefore we will release an edited version. However, this decision will not necessarily satisfy Commission of Youth Protection because they have their own measure apart, but this step must be made to prevent further effects.”
Based on Ministry decision, the new and improved “Mirotic” would most likely not include the words ‘jumun’, ‘nol kajjeosso’, and its famous line ‘I got you under my skin’ since these lyrics are “very harmful to the youth”, so the Ministry says.
The squeaky clean version would be effective immediately on all future TVXQ activities.

I just don’t know whether to laugh or cry. These guys have to be kidding me, this is simply LUDICROUS! Beyond ridiculous! They decide Mirotic is harmful now that like a zillion copies have been sold????? And after every single tv show and radio broadcast has played Mirotic another zillion times?? Even myself in Buenos Aires have an uncensored version in my hands... I wonder if they were drinking vodka while deciding this or they somewhat had to justify their salaries or something.
I read all kind of comments at the TVXQ Argentinean forum, we were mad of course but also laughing our heads off when we read this. They cannot be more ridiculous even if they tried.
For the time being I have added a support message in my signature at the forum (I SUPPORT MIROTIC’S ORIGINAL VERSION – UNDER MY SKIN) and have also joined a French Facebook group called “association Mirotic 100% skin”.
C’mon people! We’re in 2008! Not in the Dark Ages! Have these guys even read the lyrics of songs like “Closer” by Nine Inch Nails or “I touch myself” by Devinyls or “cream” by Prince?? Just go get a life and leave DBSK alone.

Yunho and Changmin on Quiz to change the world

So finally the infamous kissing scenes that were shown in a teaser days ago aired last November 23rd. Either the show was dreadful or the translation sucked because I was totally confused as to why these guys were laughing. Apparently Minnie and Yunho weren't having fun either, Yunho was totally lost and his mind was clearly some place else...
They made poor Changmin drink from a bottle of water and these middle aged women were fighting for the bottle afterwards saying it was "holy water" (I have to admit they have a point there haha) and then they had to re-enact a scene from a K-drama which very conveniently ended up with a kissing scene:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Ry2rBdKTec

I can totally picture Minnie being mad at his GF here...

YooSuMin @ Fantasy Couple

Aw this was just sweet. Last November 23rd Yoochun, Junsu and Changmin were guests on "Fantasy couple" (I've seen it translated in 3 different ways so who knows what the real name of the show is...). This is a quiz show for kids. They had to pick a partner to answer the questions. Everybody's favorite was Yoochun closely followed by Changmin, and Junsu was everybody's least favorite member XD. This was just hilarious since in the end he and the little girl he teamed up with won the game. The girl said Junsu was now her favorite TVXQ member and they hugged (so sweet!! :D )

Changmin hit by a mad fan

Last November 24 while TVXQ was at Kimpo airport, two Chinese fans approached Changmin, yelled at him and hit him on the head. There really isn't much evidence of this actually happening. People are making these accusations off of a fan video where the boys turn around and see some commotion happening in the background (where Changmin was) and also some photos of Changmin adjusting his beanie and rubbing his head. Rumor has it that these fans followed Changmin and Jaejoong to the men's restroom. Jaejoong didn't say anything but Changmin told them to get out and stop following them, hence their fury.
(taken from the web)

I'm not sure if this is just a rumor but there are some pics and videos in which you can see there's something going on around them and you can actually hear the fans yelling something at Changmin. Probably SM took care not to make a big fuss of the whole thing.
I'm just shocked that these girls think they can go through their lives thinking they can yell at and even throw things at a complete stranger (because let's be honest, even though some fans think they know TVXQ the truth is they are complete strangers)
Now thinking about how protective Cassiopeias can be, I believe these girls have to be out of their minds to do something like that to the youngest and shyest of the group. For sure Cassiopeias won’t let them get away with it just like that.
But my main concern is Changmin. I don’t know the guy personally but guessing from his behavior in public he must have felt humiliated, embarrassed, sad and furious all the same time. Why did this have to happen to HIM out of them all? I just hope he won’t take this personally even though it’s hard not to. It’s awful when someone stabs you with words for no reason (I’ve been there and know exactly how that feels...).
Changmin, I just wish you can forget about this whole thing soon and just focus on your work and other happy stuff. We fangirls are there for you 24/7 and support you and TVXQ! 100% Hwaiting!! ♥

YooSuMin on Star King

Last November 22 Yoochun, Junsu and Changmin were guests @ Star King.
I found the show kind of boring although there were some interesting performances of some Japanese rock chicks and a bunch of 5-year olds impersonating the Wonder girls haha ;-)
Here are 2 cuts of Changmin's absolute cuteness (aw, he just killed me, the guy is SO sweet, I just love him to bits ♥)

Here, kissing a robot (so shy and cute haha)

Changmin and Yunho's kiss scenes

credit ♥ KPOP JJANG 짱!

I just have one thing to say about this: WHAT THE HELL!!! 0_0

Fortunately Minnie's kiss looked totally naive and on the cheek but anyways, WHAT THE HELL!!! >_<
Apparently this was shot on Nov 16th and aired on the 23rd.

Changmin's tears at the MKMF awards

Five awards winner DBSK did not hide their happiness at this year’s first award ceremony.
DBSK seized 5 awards, including one of the daesangs ‘Album of the Year award’, at ‘2008 Mnet KM Music Festival’ (aka ‘2008 MKMF’) which opened at 7 o’clock on November 15th at the Seoul Jamshil Gymnasium.
After ‘2008 MKMF’ ended, DBSK’s ChoiKang ChangMin met with a reporter and continuously repeated “Thank you” and was unable to control his happiness.
Then he said that “I thought of a lot of things while returning in 2 years” and “It wasn’t as if we succeeded easily in Japan and while working before returning, the sense of responsibility was bit big”.
ChoiKang ChangMin said “The worrying feeling of wondering if the fans forgot us overtook me” and revealed that “because of that, I prepared this album even more so while clenching my teeth”.
And also, he expressed his feelings during the time they received the ‘Album of the Year Award’ saying that “During that time each of the members would’ve had their own businesses, and tears came out as the many events that occurred while preparing the album whizzed through my head”
This day, ChoiKang ChangMin who went on the stage to receive the prize and cried could not hide his red eyes at the waiting room.
Leader U-Know YunHo brightly smiled in the waiting room and said “I feel so great” and screamed “The fans are really the best”. Xiah JunSu and Micky YooChun said “Thank you” and showed their excited selves. YoungWoong JaeJoong cracked a smile while saying “I was really surprised/shocked that ChangMinnie cried”

First of all, congratulations to the DBSK boys for the well-deserved awards. Now to Changmin’s tears... What can I say? Like one of the girls at the Pentagram forum said watching Changmin crying his eyes out while Yoochun was consoling him was simply bizarre and I totally agree (it should have been the other way around).
Minnie-ah, I just hope you realize what you made us fangirls feel when we watched that. I believe half of the planet wished we could be there just to hug you ☺
Aw, I just think it was more than just getting emotional; Changmin looked like he had been bottling things up for a long time and that put together with all the stress the boys have been through lately plus all the TV and radio shows they appeared in during the Mirotic promotion combined with scarce hours of sleep... I don’t know, he had to break down at some point!
Do not worry Minnie! You and the boys looked adorable and hard-working as always. We support you guys 100% TVXQ! Hwaiting! ♥

DBSK on Come to Play

Dong Bang Shin Gi’s Choi Kang Chang Min was singled out as the Casanova of the group.

On MBC’s ‘Yoo Jae Suk & Kim Won Hee’s Come To Play’ (Shortened form: ‘Come To Play’) broadcast on October 27th, Choi Kang Chang Min ranked first place when Young Woong Jae Joong surveyed it’s members when asked “Which person is most like casanova among Dong Bang Shin Gi?”

Choi Kang Chang Min drew attention because of the overwhelming lead even before the ranking was announced. Suddenly exposing his fellow member, Young Woong Jae Joong stated, “Choi Kang Chang Min sometimes in the car passes by 100’s of women and looks at all 100 of those women.” And “He won’t express anything but he’ll unconsciously remember which woman was wearing pretty clothes when we passed by” added member, U-Know Yunho.

Sitting in the rear of Choi Kang Chang Min was Micky Yoochun. “When Micky Yoochun finds a woman after his heart, his pupils dilate” stated Young Woong Jae Joong causing an uproar among the group. “If he really favors a woman then there’s a very intense glitter in his eyes,” confessed Young Woong Jae Joong.

I just can’t seem to find the words to express what I felt when I watched this show. It was one of those few moments in life when I was rendered speechless kk. First of all to find out that Changmin (my little Changmin!!!) was singled out as the Casanova of DBSK, aish, I was totally flabbergasted 0_0 . And then towards the end of the show when they told about their first kisses I was WTF???? Minnie must have broken like a zillion hearts the night this show aired (Junsu as well but I think no one was prepared to hear Changmin’s story...).
In any case I had already heard about JJ’s and Yunho’s stories and even though I hadn’t heard about Chunnie’s I assumed he was going to say something romantic. I felt like hugging Junsu when he spoke about his first kiss experience but I was in shock the moment Minnie opened his mouth to talk about his.
It is really surprising the difference between first kiss experiences in South America and Korea. Here you would have your first kiss when you are really young compared to youths in Korea.
In any case (and now I’ve recovered from the initial shock) GO CHANGMIN!! I just wish all of them had girlfriends to at least have a sort of normal life; what could be more normal than dating when you’re young???

DBSK in Happy Together

Aw, there’s so many things I want to comment on these days but I cannot find the spare time nor the willpower to put in writing all the things I have in mind.
We’ve been having a temperature of around 40 degrees in Buenos Aires (I foresee an Indian summer ahead...and just thinking that I loathe summer...) and being on my computer has turned somewhat unbearable.
However, one thing that never fails to cheer me up and make me laugh my head off every single time I watch it is TVXQ! In the “Happy Together” show.
The first episode they took part in was awfully hilarious but the one from 2008 was as funny as the previous one. I just wish Junsu and Changmin could have been there too (apparently they were in Japan at that time??) Anyways, Jaejoong’s randomness just kills me every single time and poor Chunnie, he always has to make a fool of himself to make us fall off our chairs with laughter hahaha.
Note: for those who don’t have a clue what this is about, guests taking part in the show are locked into a sauna and they have to sing a song without mistakes to get out.
Now, to the memorable images (this is just part 4, closed captions on the right):

MIROTIC has arrived!

I should have written about this sooner but I’ve been busy with work and quite frankly I didn’t feel like updating the blog (I’ve been feeling kind of blue lately and this is something that should be done with dedication at least)
My Mirotic CD finally arrived on Wednesday, October 22nd less than a month after it was released. When I got it in my hands (I didn’t have to go through all the hassle at the customs office like last time I got something from Hong Kong) I felt like jumping and screaming. You know these are the bizarre – but nonetheless wonderful – things about globalization: I got my Mirotic even before some girls in Korea!! And all because I had preordered at YesAsia, unbelievable...
Now, speaking about the interesting stuff *** Mirotic *** OMG, the box is just beautiful. I have version A that comes with a small photo book the size of the CD containing the oh so popular Mirotic pictures with the boys showing skin everywhere. Pure smex. When I saw THAT pic of Chunnie looking to the side with his mouth half opened, my heart skipped a beat. I made the corresponding comments in my other entry “about the Mirotic new look” but I have to mention it here once again, keke, that’s how sexy he looks.
I knew which track was my favorite after the first time I played Mirotic. It has to be “Picture of you”; I just don’t get tired of listening to that song over and over again. Just like with “One” I think it’s one of those soul-wrenching songs that you shouldn’t listen to if someone just broke your heart. It’s sad but addictive anyways.
Here are some pics of my treasured MIROTIC:

About the Mirotic new look

Since Mirotic was released last September there has been a storm of comments regarding the new looks of TVXQ’s boys. I guess fans were shocked to find out they had sort of left their cute image behind and adopted a “sexier” look. Yes, the change was shocking. I always try to focus on their music and I’ve managed to do that so far because I could not relate to their boyish image in the past days. But now that the boys are gone and 5 handsome men are there instead I’m not sure if I’ll be able to keep my mouth shut....
At least I have to comment on Micky’s new look. Boy, when I saw the Mirotic pics I was like “quien es ese chicooo, who’s that boy?” (Madonna’s music in the background). It’s like I was seeing Micky for the first time in my life. I knew he was there because of his voice, yes, but I had never looked at him twice in the past. It’s not that I thought he was unattractive or anything, he simply didn’t catch my attention before... Now, thanks to his stylist he has ALL MY ATTENTION!
First of all, in the Mirotic MV when he was inside the crystal cage and tilted his head to the side showing his neck, that was the exact second I discovered him! Ke ke, why do necks have that effect on me...aish. But then with the pics! I just thought: absolutely smexy. Not so many people are happy with his new hair but I ADORE IT. I think it brings out the best of him. Oh and he hasn’t stopped showing me his neck or half opened eyes/mouth so he now has me drooling all over the keyboard like an idiot! I have to say 10 points to Micky’s new look (the pic in this entry is the one I’m using as my desktop background right now).
About the others: Well, Changmin has certainly grown up. A lot. I’m not so enthusiastic about his hair color or do, doesn’t he look like that guy from Shinee? But he’s my favorite TVXQ ♥ so I’ll support him anyways. Even if I get bricks thrown at me, I like his hair when it’s long and messy.
Junsu: I understand that everybody had to have a new look but in his case I think the Becks style (gelled spikes) he had during the “O” period was the one that suited him best. Since he has a sort of rounded face, the O style made his face look thinner. In any case, his new look was ok in black. I didn’t like it when he changed to a deep red a few days after the Mirotic showcase but I forgive him; I think he has the sexiest body of them all. Junsu should adopt Jeans and black T-shirts as his uniform; he looks so damn good in them!
Jaejoong: Well, we all know anything looks good on him. I really like his new haircut and color (I think it was kind of plum color). I’m not so eager about him showing his body any chance he has; he’s way too thin. I’m glad he kind of stopped putting his hand over his mouth when he laughs, it really got on my nerves when he did that.
Yunho: I’m really worried about him. If he was a girl I’d say he looks... anorexic. I won’t add anything else not to sound mean but boy please start eating cheeseburgers, you look so much better with a couple of extra kilos. Haircut is ok, not so sure about the color.
All in all I like the new Mirotic image. There certainly is a before and after this look and we fans are more than happy to see a sexier side of TVXQ ^ ^ .

TVXQ goodies finally arrived!

After waiting for 2 months I finally got my TVXQ goodies and I have to say that I'm quite impressed to say the least. I had already downloaded the O album – sorry guys- because it takes such a long time and all my savings to buy TVXQ music online (as explained in other posts, due to devaluation in my country CDs cost us 3 times as much as if we were buying them here and in any case they don’t sell them here). But since the sound quality wasn’t good I thought it over (for about 2 seconds) and placed my order with YesAsia. It took them 2 months and all my anger on the phone to get my stuff here but it was worth it.
CD was really nice, unfortunately I will have to ask a Korean friend of a friend to translate TVXQ’s dedications but the pics are really nice. I already knew the O album was superb. It also comes with another CD with extra footage, interviews and photoshoots.
But the DVD.... People! I have to say that all TVXQ overseas fans should buy these DVDs since we cannot attend those concerts on the other side of the world.
The DVD is 3 hours long, it comes in a nice box containing 2 CDS and 1 calendar. Unfortunately mine was defective and it only had 4 months instead of the 12 that should have been included boohoooo... It also comes with a small photobook with images of the concert.
The concert was really good although I didn’t understand the war images concept. Maybe because I loathe war images? I understood that they were showing them as if saying “we are against this” but I’m not sure if it is wise to show that kind of imagery to an audience mainly consisting of teens. In any case, the show was great. I wasn’t very happy when I heard they started with “Phantom” since it is one of the 2 songs in the album that I do not like but it was ok. The performance of Hey Girl with the girls and the chairs was really good. I loved the images before “Remember” with all the portraits on the wall and the little girl apart from the fact that I adore that song. The images and theatrical performance before “One” were magical and the song was simply beautiful (and soul-wrenching at the same time, I don’t know why this song makes me feel like that whenever I listen to it). There was one thing that I really enjoyed and that was Junsu’s solo performance of “My page”. I was like “what the hell??” When he started dancing like that I almost fell off my chair! When did he learn to dance like that??? Did he learn to move his hips with our Colombian Shakira??? I think that out of the 5, Xiah has a body to die for but if anyone needs evidence to confirm this please watch that performance. Changminnie got me smiling at the screen like an idiot when he sang “When I first kissed you” but that’s the effect he has on me almost all the time... I also liked Micky’s “One last cry”. I definitely did not like Jae’s solo “Crying” not because of him but because I do not like the song.
All in all it is a great show, they even showed footage of Changmin’s birthday celebration on stage and some extra footage (making of DVD), I’m really happy with it.

My gin tonic

Do you have a favorite drink?
I do; mine is gin and tonic with lemon. I really enjoy having one whenever I go to an Irish pub with friends. And with salted pop-corn they can be so addictive. I’ve tried other drinks and cocktails but I always find myself asking for a gin and tonic when I go out. I have an English friend (actually he is Scottish) who says gin and tonics are drinks for old ladies with cats in Britain (??). I don’t care, I just like them (maybe because I AM an old lady??? In any case I have no cats, I like dogs better...)
The title is this entry is also the title of a song by Andres Calamaro “Mi Gin Tonic”, lyrics below. It seems this drink inspired him to write a song...

Rain in BA

Today it rained cats and dogs in BA. This is a sight of the city at 9 am.

It suddenly became so dark as if it was night already and I knew a hail storm was coming. And yes there was hail in some parts of Buenos Aires, fortunately not near my home. Hail can be very destructive; years ago we had a hail storm that destroyed thousands of cars, roofs, terraces, appliances... People had to wait for 3-4 months to get their cars repaired since so many had been smashed and there were not enough spare parts for everyone. Insurance companies almost went bankrupt.
In any case, it rained cats and dogs today. I didn’t feel like working at all, I just wanted to stay in bed for as long as possible....

I have Arirang TV now!!

I totally forgot commenting about this but I have Arirang TV now!! About a month and a half ago after I moved in, they came to connect the cable TV and told us that we could take advantage of a current promotion and they added some extra channels free of charge.
I cannot tell you how happy I was to find out that Arirang was one of those extra channels! And while checking it, Pops in Seoul was the first show I watched. My heart started racing when I saw TVXQ there!! Haha, well now the promo is over but my “other half” was kind enough to leave that channel (even if we have to pay some extra $$ to have it). I have to say the quality of programs and documentaries is quite good. I wish we had a similar channel here, showing the rest of the world all the good things my country has to offer.
I almost never miss Pops in Seoul (although that VJ ISak really gets on my nerves...) and Showbiz extra. We also watch “Homey Korean” and “let’s speak Korean” but apparently they are not teaching to beginners so most of the times I do not learn a single word in Korean T_T
It’s really fascinating to see how people live on the other side of the world. Sometimes I cannot believe how different (and similar at the same time) we are.

DBSK upcoming 4th Korean Album

I've been checking DBSK's sites these days since I heard their 4th Korean album was going to be released at any time. There was a lot of speculation about the date, but I saw random interviews where Xiah said "probably August, September, October"
Probably me and other fans in South and Central America won't be able to buy their album as soon as it is released given the prices in dollars (way too expensive for us) but I was checking just in case...
But when trying to find some info - apparently the date is going to be Sept. 24 - I found some YouTube videos showing them and their new looks in the SM concert held last August 15.
I WAS IN SHOCK!! What happened to the sweet DBSK boys? There were certainly NO BOYS on stage... 5 super hot sexy handsome men were there instead.
I'm still trying to get used to Micky's new hairdo, I even mistook him for JJ in some parts of the video (it was a low quality fan cam video), all of them have been secretly working out! Xiah has definitely ceased to be the cute, always smiling boy to adopt this sexy seductive attitude permanently. JJ and U-Know are as sexy as always and Changmin, OMG, he should do as their huyngs and show a bit more skin ;-)
I had noticed that in their last shows they added more interaction with their backup female dancers, which made their fans go wild every time they touched these girls on stage.
But what really made me laugh my head off was the comments that fans left below these videos. Things like "I'm dead and in Paradise" or "massive nosebleed" "hotness overdose" and the like were flooding the comments section.
I thought there was a before and after their song "Hey Girl" and the performance with the girls and the chairs but I have confirmed this now that I saw these SM concert videos.
I also read that their album pre-order already sold 200.000 copies!
And what about the pic above?? Just a small sample of their upcoming album... All of them shirtless behind that black see-through fabric? mmmm... It leaves a lot to our imagination; they have succeded in leaving us wanting more... (maybe the fabric will be gone one the new album is released?? ;-) )

Madonna in BA

In a Nutshell, the tickets for Madonna's concert to be held in BA on December 6th sold out in 3 hours after being put on sale.
People, I was even considering paying the $215 (around 70 US dollars) for the show!! I didn't even had the TIME to think much about it, tickets were sold out in 3 freaking hours, aish...
I went to see her last time she was in BA (I was in my teens back then) and had the time of my life. I admire her, she's such a hard-working artist!
I will now have to wait and see if new dates are added! boohoo :-(

Buenos Aires, Reina del Plata (Queen of the River Plate)

Buenos Aires is the capital and largest city of Argentina. It is geographically located on the southern shore of the Río de la Plata, on the southeastern coast of the South American continent. Greater Buenos Aires is the third largest conurbation in Latin America, with a population of about 13 million.
People from Buenos Aires are called porteños (people of the port).
Seaman Juan Díaz de Solís, navigating in the name of Spain, was the first European to reach the Río de la Plata in 1516. His expedition was cut short when he was killed during an attack by the native Charrúa tribe in what is now Uruguay.

The city of Buenos Aires was first established as Ciudad de Nuestra Señora Santa María del Buen Ayre[5] (literally "City of Our Lady Saint Mary of the Fair Winds") on February 2, 1536 by a Spanish expedition led by Pedro de Mendoza. The city founded by Mendoza was located in what is today the San Telmo district of Buenos Aires, south of the city centre.

More attacks by the indigenous peoples forced the settlers away, and in 1541 the site was abandoned. A second (and permanent) settlement was established in 1580 by Juan de Garay, who arrived by sailing down the Paraná River from Asunción (now the capital of Paraguay).

During the British invasions of the Río de la Plata, British forces attacked Buenos Aires twice, in 1806 and 1807, but were repelled both times by local militias. Ultimately, on May 25, 1810, while Spain was occupied with the Peninsular War, and after a week of mostly pacific demonstrations, the criollo citizens of Buenos Aires successfully ousted the Spanish Viceroy and established a provisional government. May 25 is now celebrated as a national holiday (May Revolution Day). Formal independence from Spain was later declared in 1816.
By the 1920s Buenos Aires was a favored destination for immigrants from Europe, as well as from Argentina's provinces and neighboring countries.
In the 1970s, the city suffered from the fighting between left-wing revolutionary movements (Montoneros, E.R.P. and F.A.R.) and the right-wing paramilitary group Triple A, supported by Isabel Perón, who became president of Argentina in 1974 after Juan Perón's death.

The military coup of 1976, led by Jorge Rafael Videla, only escalated this conflict; the "Dirty War" resulted in 30,000 desaparecidos (people kidnapped and killed by the military during the Military Government years). The silent marches of their mothers (Mothers of the Plaza de Mayo) are a well-known image of Argentines suffering during those times.
The city was visited by Pope John Paul II twice: in 1982, due to the outbreak of the Falklands War (Spanish: Guerra de las Malvinas/Guerra del Atlántico Sur), and a second visit in 1987, which gathered crowds never before seen in the city.

On March 17, 1992 a bomb exploded in the Israeli Embassy, killing 29 and injuring 242. Another explosion on July 18, 1994 destroyed a building housing several Jewish organizations, killing 85 and injuring many more.
As of the census of 2001, there are 12,129,819 people residing in the city and 31 surrounding districts, making Buenos Aires home to one in three Argentines.
The racial makeup of the city is 88.9% White, 7% Mestizo, 2.1% Asian and 2% Black. The majority of porteños have European origins, with Italian and Spanish descent being the most common. The Jewish community in Greater Buenos Aires numbers around 250,000, and is the largest in Latin America. The first major East Asian community in Buenos Aires was the Japanese, mainly from Okinawa. Traditionally, Japanese-Argentines were noted as flower growers; in the city proper, there was a Japanese near-monopoly in dry cleaning. Starting in the 1970s there has been an important influx of immigration from China and Korea, the latter known mostly for small, family-owned supermarkets.
Religion
Most inhabitants are Roman Catholic, though a number of studies over the past few decades suggest that fewer than 20% are actively practicing.

Climate
The city has a humid subtropical climate. The average year temperature is 17.6 °C (63.7 °F). The city gets 1,147 mm (45 in) of rainfall per year. The average high temperatures ranges from 30.4 °C (86.7 °F) in January, to 14.9 °C (58.8 °F) in Winter. Rain can be expected at any time of year and hailstorms are not unusual. The last snowfall occurred recently on July 9, 2007. It was the first major snowfall in the city in 89 years.
Culture
Strongly influenced by European culture, Buenos Aires is sometimes referred to as the "Paris of South America". Buenos Aires is the site of the Teatro Colón, one of the world's greatest opera houses. The city has numerous museums related to history, fine arts, modern arts, decorative arts, popular arts, sacred art, arts and crafts, theatre and popular music. It has a world-famous zoo and Botanical Garden, a large number of landscaped parks and squares, as well as churches and places of worship of many denominations, many of which are architecturally noteworthy.
Language
Known as Rioplatense Spanish, Buenos Aires' Spanish (and also in other cities like Rosario and Montevideo, Uruguay) is characterised by voseo, yeísmo and aspiration of s in various contexts. The porteño accent is closer to the Neapolitan dialect of Italian than any other spoken language.
In the early 20th century, Argentina absorbed millions of immigrants, many of them Italians, who spoke mostly in their local dialects (mainly Neapolitan, Sicilian and Genoan). Their adoption of Spanish was gradual, creating a pidgin of Italian dialects and Spanish that was called cocoliche. Its usage declined around the 1950s.
Many Spanish immigrants were from Galicia, to the extent that Spaniards are still generically referred to in Argentina as gallegos (Galicians). Galician language, cuisine and culture had a major presence in the city for most of the 20th century. In recent years, descendants of Galician immigrants have led a mini-boom in Celtic music (which also highlighted the Welsh traditions of Patagonia). Korean and Chinese have become significant since the 1970s. Most of the newer immigrants learn Spanish quickly and assimilate into city life.
You can read more about my city by typing “buenos aires” in Wikipedia.

The dentist nightmare

Last week I got my wisdom tooth removed. It had been killing me for some good 20 days and I went to the dentist 3 times in order to have it taken out but for some reason or another they wouldn’t. Third time I went there my dentist was on sick-leave!! I started shouting, kicking, crying and begging them to remove the freaking tooth. They noticed I was on the verge of a nervous breakdown so they pitied me and took the bloody tooth out, what a relief!! The anesthetic hurt like hell but the cavity on the tooth hurt more so I was brave and didn’t complain. Fortunately it’s over now. Then my dentist said I had a small cavity in my other wisdom tooth so I had to go back to the dental clinic yesterday and get sweaty palms again, boohoo. I still have another appointment to get a professional cleaning with a periodontist and I’ll get rid of the dentist for at least 6 months yippieeee!!
My advice to you people is GO TO THE DENTIST!! I always try to postpone the agony but I’ve learnt that it is worse if I don’t go.

11. You only love
12. 풍선 (Balloons)
----------------------------------------------------------------

I really liked O, the MV’s fabulous and I love the part where Micky and Yunho rap (is it rap the right word for that??). The locations where it was shot are just amazing.
Not so eager about “You are my miracle”, some parts reminded me of those songs of the 50s that my parents listen to.
OMG, when I heard “Hey girl” for the first time I almost fell off my chair! Like I said in other posts I think there’s a before and after this song for TVXQ and when I saw their performance on stage with the backup dancers and the chairs, that’s when I said “finally these kids have grown up...” I totally relate to this song and listen to it non-stop, especially at night when I’m working on my PC.
“Get me some” is just ok but I really liked “I’ll be there” (Changmin sounds so sweet when he sings “thanks for everything” :-) “Remember” (sooo sweet) and “White lie”, which is only included in some of the versions. “The story has just begun” has part of a melody I know from the past but cannot remember the song, will try to find out. “On and on” is just so sweet and I can fully relate to the lyrics (yes, I’ve been there before...).
Do not like “Phantom” or “Balloons” (though the video is kinda cute), sorry... but I loved “You only love” (I almost always like this type of soft songs).
Even though I don’t like a couple of songs, this CD is absolutely worth buying.

2nd Korean Album - Rising Sun

Released 12-9-2005

1. Tonight
2. Beautiful life
3. 순수 /sonsu/ (Rising sun)
4. 바보 /babo/ (Unforgettable)
5. 네가 허락할테니 /nega haoraggalteni/ (Love is never gone)
6. Love after love
7. Dangerous mind
8. One
9. Love is...
10. Free your mind (Feat. The Trax)
11. 작은 고백 /shagun gobaeg/ (Your love is all I need)
12. 약속했던 그때에 /yassoggeddon gutee/ Always there (Acapella).
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Undoubtedly my favorite song in this CD is “One”; the music perfectly matches the sad lyrics. I love JJ and Xiah voices at the beginning, well, all of them sound awesome here. This is a song that “invites” you to sing along. Same thing with “Your love is all I need” (sometimes used as background music during interviews)
I also like “Tonight”, “Beautiful life” (the kind of song you listen to when you’re driving), “Unforgettable” (also used in interviews), “Love is never gone”, “Love after love”, “Love is” and “Always there” (awesome vocal work). These songs are what I call “easy listening”: I can listen to them while working and they relax me.
I do not like “Rising Sun” and “Dangerous Mind”, apparently the first one was a hit in Korea but I always skip that song when I’m listening to this CD, it gets on my nerves, sorry. Even if “Free your mind” is not a ballad either, it doesn’t seem to negatively affect me as much as Rising sun, don’t know the reason...
I wonder why there are so many songs using the word “Love” in this CD (?).

10. 넌 언제나 (You always)
11. Hug
12. My Little Princess
13. The Way U Are
14. Tri-Angle (동방신기 Version)

Favorite song in this album: I have to say that's track No 9 "Hey Little Kid". This song caught my attention the first time I heard it but boy, how I cried when I read the translation of the lyrics! I don't think DBSK members or anyone that age can fully understand the real meaning of those words but I'm older and felt these words described how I feel now so accurately... Although I'm sure there's still a lot to come from DBSK, at some point they will look back and see this ball of confusion they are in now with melancholic eyes, remembering both the sad and happy times they shared.
I liked Miduhyo even though I don't like the fact that Micky has to say words in english in some of their songs as a "special touch".
I totally adored the futuristic and dark concept of "Tri-angle". Hero and Changmin's hair was awesome and I totally loved Yunho's feather eyelashes in the MV.
About Hug, I guess I just got tired of listening to it over and over again. Whenever I listen to the song I remember them fooling around in that radio show! :-D
I thought "The way you are" MV was kind of sexy ;-)
I was kind of confused about track number 4. Will you be my girlfriend? I found it in some places as "A heartbeat away" maybe because the lyrics include those words... In any case, I really like that song, I think it's really sweet and it reminded me of my first love :-)

Profile - Hero JaeJoong

Stage Name: HERO Youngwoong Jaejoong (영웅재중 or 英雄在中)
Birth Name: Han Jaejoon (한재준, 韓在俊)
Adopted Name : Kim Jaejoong (김재중, 金在中)
Birthdate: January 26, 1986
Birthplace: Gongju
Height: 180 cm
Weight: 63 kg
Blood Type: O
Hobbies: Playing computer games, listening to music, playing the piano, composing, cooking
Specialty: Singing
Position: Main vocal

Kim Jaejoong left his hometown in Chungnam to audition for SM Entertainment. Having left the shelter of home, he experienced poverty and strife before becoming a celebrity. Kim debuted as YoungWoong Jaejoong. His manager picked the name Hero for him because he wanted him to be the hero of the music industry. Kim took first place in an audition of 5000 people, both in best looking and best vocals. He became the main vocalist of TVXQ.

Personal Comments: Aish, it was hard to choose a pic to add to this entry, there were so many pics of him on the web and so many fansites dedicated to him! I personally like JJ because of his willpower. He had to come a long way to achieve his goals and it took him a lot to be where he is now. Being an adopted child myself I know what he’s been through and I admire him because he had to face all that while being on the spotlight. I still don’t get how he pulled through, since all this blew onto his face while he was so young. Apparently he’s worried he doesn’t make good first impressions but boy, it’s your warm heart what matters and it’s evident that you have one. There’s another thing I like a lot about him: he makes me laugh so much! He’s super clumsy and funny even though he doesn’t intend to be. I’ve read he thinks he’ll get married to a fan. I’m not so sure about that, probably it will be someone from the entertainment business but I wish you may find what you are looking for.
Hero should always work in entertainment. His voice is out of this world but he's also a great comedian.

DBSK song that reminds me of Hero: Maze (awesome performance), Insa, Love in the ice, Lovin' you, Doushite kimi wo suki ni natte shimattan darou?
DBSK song I would like to dedicate to him: Mariah Carey’s The Roof Top (sexy song for a sexy boy)

Profile - Xiah Junsu

Stage Name : XIAH Xiah Junsu (시아준수 or 細亞俊秀)
Real Name: Kim Junsu (김준수, 金俊秀)
Legal Birthdate: January 1, 1987
Real Birthday: December 15, 1986
Place of birth: Gyeonggi
Height: 178 cm
Weight: 63 kg
Blood Type: B
Hobbies: Piano, soccer
Specialty: Singing, dancing
Position: Middle high vocal
The first member to join TVXQ was Kim Junsu. At the age of 12 he was brought into SM Entertainment through a televised talent search with Moon Hee Jun and Kangta from H.O.T. as judges. His vocals won over the judges and procured him thorough training for the next six years. After three years of training, he was supposed to debut, but puberty caused his voice to change and he was unable to sing until it ended after another three years. After six years, he debuted as Xiah Junsu (Xiah is pronounced Shee-ah in Korean). Xiah is the stage name that Kim himself chose, explaining to his fans that the name was short for "Asia", as Asia is pronounced "ah-shee-ah" in Korean. "Xiah" would be an implication of his desire to become not only a star in Korea, but also a star recognized all throughout the continent.
Personal Comments: I just adore Xiah, he has such a infectious laughter! He's my favorite singer in DBSK, I simply do not get tired of listening to him. I would definitely buy his records if he decides to persue a solo career (though not likely at this time). I was so surprised to find out he's not only a good singer but also such a skillful dancer! He's as good as Yunho. Xiah's funny and cute even when he wakes up. Keep up the good work! ;-)
DBSK song that reminds me of Xiah: Holding back the tears, Love in the ice, Miduhyo, On and On, You're my melody.
Song I would like to dedicate to him: Men at work's Land down under (upbeat song for an upbeat boy ;-)

Profile - Micky YooChun

Stage Name : MICKY Micky Yoochun (믹키유천 or 秘奇有天)
Real Name: Park Yoochun (박유천, 朴有天)
Birthdate: June 4, 1986
Birthplace: Seoul
Height: 180 cm
Weight: 60 kg
Blood Type: O
Hobbies: Composing music/lyrics/rap, piano, Car driving, tuning
Specialty: Singing, composing
Position: Middle low vocal

One year before the group's debut, a final member was added. Park Yoochun lived in Fairfax, Virginia for roughly four years before he auditioned for Brothers Entertainment and was sent to Korea to SM Entertainment. Micky was Park's English nickname when he lived in Virginia. As the winner of a talent show, he was granted the opportunity to sign with SM Entertainment in Korea. He now performs under the stage name Micky Yoochun.

Personal Comments: I don't have any comments, Micky's a complete mystery to me (I will need to do some research) I know that he has plenty of fans who worship him and there's a lot of rumours about his girlfriends. If there's one thing that caught my attention is his sensibility. I remember watching a video of a show during which he talked about his childhood in the US and his parents' divorce and he couldn't help but cry. At that time I thought why none of the people there on the set approached him to hug him or comfort him, as he was having such a hard time telling the story but I guess the other members who were there were too young or too surprised to know how to react. I definitely like that side of him (although he may think it's a weakness); in this macho land I live in, you hardly see a guy showing his emotions like that.

DBSK song that reminds me of Micky: Holding back the tears, Love in the Ice, Mirotic.
Song I would like to dedicate to him: Danity Kane's Stay with me.

Profile - Max Changmin

Stage Name : MAX Choikang Changmin (최강창민 or 最强昌珉)
Real Name: Shim Changmin (심창민, 沈昌珉)
Birthdate: February 18, 1988
Birthplace: Seoul
Height: 186 cm
Weight: 61 kg
Blood Type: B
Hobbies: Music, singing, eating
Specialty: Singing, dancing
Position: High vocal

Shim Changmin was grouped with the youngest participants in the audition. Like Xiah Junsu, he impressed the judges with his powerful voice. He joined the group under the name Choikang Changmin. Choikang in Korean means "Most Powerful", or approximately, "the best"; "Max" became an international rendition of this name.

Personal comments: People!!! Could he be any cuter? Without doubt I think little Changmin is the sexiest of the 5. However, I don't think he has relized his own potential as a singer or his power of seduction. He's kind of harsh in his replies to the fans (Ouch!) but anyways, lucky the girl who can win his heart and take such a sexy hunk home! ;-)

DBSK Song that reminds me of Changmin: O, I love you, Always there, Choosey Lover, Dead End, Wild Soul (OMG, I want to go to a rock concert with Hero singing Maze and Changmin singing this song!) Mirotic.
Song I would like to dedicate to him: Justin Timberlake's What comes around
